Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport

Wichita airport is rather small and does not have many amenities, so it is recommended to have a sleeping bag and blankets for a layover night. Also, you will have to stay in the public area once the security checkpoints close for the night.

Where to rest: There are not many comfortable places inside the terminal, except for a few couches on the mezzanine floor. The best option is to move to one of the nearby hotels, some of which operate complimentary shuttle services.

Baggage: There are no left-luggage services. This means you will have to keep your baggage with you until check-in.

Eating and drinking: Shops inside the terminal close at night and open around 4:00 am, but vending machines are available throughout the enclosure.

Wi-Fi: It is free and unlimited.

Other services open around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, children's play area, first aid room.
