Transfer to/from - Tokyo Haneda airport (HND)

Trains

The airport is connected by two main railway lines providing convenient access to the city centre and other parts of the region.

Tokyo Monorail: Connects all three terminals with Hamamatsucho Station in approximately 13-15 minutes via the express service. From there, passengers can transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to reach major stations such as Tokyo, Shibuya and Shinjuku. Services run frequently from 5:00 am until after 11:30 pm.

Keikyu Line: Links the airport with Shinagawa Station in around 11-14 minutes. This line is ideal for connections with the Shinkansen (bullet train) or for continuing to the city of Yokohama (20-25 min.). Many services continue onto the Asakusa underground line, allowing direct access to areas such as Ginza and Asakusa without changing trains.

Connection with Narita Airport: Direct services (Access Express) via the Keikyu/Keisei network connect both airports in approximately 90-100 minutes.

Buses

Bus services stop on the first floor (arrivals level) of all terminals. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines or ticket counters located in the arrivals halls.

Airport Limousine Bus: Provides direct transfers to major hotels and railway stations in Tokyo (such as Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo Station), as well as to Narita Airport. The journey to the city centre generally takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Keikyu Bus: Specialises in routes to destinations within Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokohama, Kawasaki, Kamakura), Chiba, Saitama and other surrounding regions. It also operates limited late-night services after the trains have stopped running.

Connection with Narita (NRT): A shuttle service (Airport Transport Service) links Haneda with Narita Airport in approximately 65-85 minutes.

Taxis and Ride-sharing

Taxis: Taxi ranks are located outside the arrivals areas. A system of fixed fares applies for journeys to most districts of Tokyo (such as Chiyoda, Chuo and Shinjuku). Please note that a night surcharge applies between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am, and motorway tolls are charged separately. Journey times to the city centre range from 25 to 50 minutes.

Transport apps: Uber and Go services can be requested through their respective apps. Since October 2025, a dedicated pick-up area for these vehicles has been available on the second floor (departures level) of Terminals 1 and 2. In Terminal 1, the pick-up point is located near Exit 7; in Terminal 2, near Exit 2. All other private vehicles must continue using car parks P1 to P5.

Water Transport

Adjacent to Terminal 3, on the left bank of the Tamagawa River, lies the Haneda Pier. It offers sightseeing cruises and water taxi services, although the regular route to Odaiba is currently suspended.

• KMC: Operates services to Yokohama (Minato Mirai).
• Water taxis: On-demand services to Shibaura, Nihonbashi, Toyosu and Asakusa.
