Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Peru

1. Certificate of vaccination or negative result of a molecular PCR test:

Any person who enters the national territory, as a passenger and regardless of the country of origin, must prove that they have completed the dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, in Peru and / or abroad, fourteen (14) days before boarding at its point of origin.

If you do not have a vaccination certificate, you may submit a negative molecular test with a result date of no more than 72 hours before boarding at your point of origin.

Children under twelve only need to be asymptomatic to board.

In the particular case of Peruvian passengers and resident foreigners from the  Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Botswana , or who have made a stopover in these places, they must prove that they have completed, in Peru and / or abroad, their scheme of vaccination against COVID-19 and have a negative molecular test with a result date no greater than 48 hours before boarding at your point of origin.

The use of a KN95 mask is mandatory, or failing that, a three-fold surgical mask and on top of it a community mask (cloth) to circulate on public roads and in closed places, or in places where it cannot be maintained. physical or bodily distancing, including the Jorge Chavez airport (in the city of Lima).

4.  Quarantine: 

Passengers entering Peru are not required to quarantine, with the exception of those  people who show symptoms upon entering the national territory, who will enter mandatory isolation . The National Health Authority is empowered to take  molecular tests (PCR) on passengers arriving in the country , establishing complementary health measures for positive cases among those from countries with cases of community infection due to the variants of concern of COVID- 19, or who have made a stopover in these places.

 Tips before departing
