Taxis

Vehicles available outside the arrivals hall. It is recommended to agree on a fare with the driver before boarding. Travel time to downtown is about 10 minutes. Some of the available companies are Taxi O'Qarina, Rapi Taxi, and Aló Cusco.

Buses

There are minibuses that connect the airport to different points in the city and operate until 10:00 pm. From the Terrestrial Terminal, located in downtown Cusco, numerous private services depart to various locations within the country and Bolivia.

Additionally, you can hire a private or shared minibus service from Cusco Airport Shuttle and Cusco Airport Transport.

Trains

Near the airport there is a station that connects Cusco with Machu Picchu and Puno. The main tourist train operator is PeruRail, which connects the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu with Cusco and the Sacred Valley, as well as with the cities of Puno (Lake Titicaca) and Arequipa.

Main destinations and routes:

• Cusco – Machu Picchu: The most emblematic route. Trains depart from Poroy (near the airport), Ollantaytambo, or Urubamba stations in the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
• Cusco – Puno: Connection to the city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca, via a tourist train service.
• Cusco – Arequipa: A longer route connecting to the White City.

PeruRail services:

• Expedition: The budget option, with comfortable seats and panoramic windows.
• Vistadome: Tourist train with large windows, onboard snacks, and cultural shows.
• Vistadome Observatory: An upgraded version of Vistadome, with an observation car and enhanced service.
• Hiram Bingham: Luxury train operated by Belmond, with an all-inclusive gourmet experience and live music.
• Titicaca: Train with luxury service on the Cusco – Puno route.
• Andean Explorer: Luxury overnight train on the Cusco – Puno – Arequipa route.

It is recommended to purchase train tickets well in advance, especially during high season (May to September), as demand is high and routes to Machu Picchu have limited capacity.
