Overnight Hours and Terminal Dynamics

Nashville International Airport's public landside terminal remains open 24 hours a day and is continuously patrolled by the Airport Police Department. However, TSA security checkpoints close after the final evening departure and reopen daily at 3:30 am. Travelers arriving overnight or with early connections must wait in the landside public areas (Levels 1 and 3).

Sleeping and Resting Areas

On Level 3 landside, several padded benches are situated in quieter corners of the terminal. If you are already past security before the checkpoints close, Concourses B, C, and D feature armrest-free gate seating and power sockets. For uninterrupted sleep, travelers can reserve private sleep pods at Minute Suites in Concourse D or stay at the connected Hilton BNA hotel.

Luggage Storage

There are no luggage lockers or baggage check services inside BNA due to TSA regulations.

Terminal eateries and cafes close progressively between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm, reopening around 4:00 am to 5:00 am. Overnight passengers must rely on vending machines stocked with snacks and cold drinks.
