Atlanta Airport consolidates all car rental operations at the Rental Car Center (RCC), a dedicated facility that operates 24 hours a day. The center is located outside the terminal complex but offers seamless and frequent connections for passengers.
Connection from the Domestic Terminal: Access is provided via the ATL SkyTrain, a free automated train that links the terminal with the RCC in approximately 5 minutes. The station is located in the Ground Transportation building, directly across from the terminal.
Connection from the International Terminal: A shuttle bus service operates every 15 minutes between the curbside arrivals level of the International Terminal and the Rental Car Center.

Requirements for Renting a Vehicle
To rent a car at Atlanta Airport, you must meet the following standard requirements, although each agency may have its own policies:
- Minimum age: You must be at least 21 years old. Most agencies charge an additional daily "young driver" fee for renters between 21 and 24 years of age.

It should be noted that the International permit is NOT valid by itself, it must always be accompanied by the National Driver's License.
