Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (YQB)

Possibility to spend the night at Québec airport (YQB), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Although Québec City airport is small, it is a modern, quiet and safe place where to spend the night if you have a flight early in the morning. Once the security checkpoints close for the night, you will have to remain in the landside area of the terminal.

Where to rest: The Arrivals Hall is not very bright, but the seats have armrests, contrary to the pre-security Departures area. On the other hand, on the second floor, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night. Some of the hotels in the city offer shuttles for their guests if they book in advance.

Baggage: Left luggage service available 24 hours a day at the airport's information booth, by the main entrance.

Eating and drinking: There are only vending machines during the night.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing room, children's playground.
