Lounges, facilities and services at VPS Airport

The airport does not feature commercial airline lounges or lounges participating in independent programs such as Priority Pass or LoungeKey. However, it hosts a dedicated lounge for military personnel and their families.

Landside Area

USO Freedom Lounge

Location: ground level of the main terminal, directly across from the airline ticketing and check-in counters.

Hours: daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Services: complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, free Wi-Fi, computer workstations, video game consoles, library, cable television, and comfortable lounge seating.

Access: complimentary and exclusive to active-duty United States military service members and their immediate dependents with valid military identification.

Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport provides a full range of essential passenger amenities designed for convenience and travel comfort.

Finance and Connectivity

• Wi-Fi: complimentary high-speed wireless internet access is available throughout all terminal concourses and gate waiting areas.
• ATMs: cash machines are located near the main entrance on the ground floor and on the second level of the concourse.
• Charging stations: power outlets and USB charging connections are integrated into seating rows throughout gate hold rooms.
• Courtesy phones: situated in the baggage claim area to connect with local hotels and transportation providers.

Dining

Pre-security dining options include Dunkin' Donuts and The Market in the main terminal lobby. Past security checkpoints, passengers can dine at the Emerald Coast Bar & Grill (offering full dining and bar service), the unique Dunkin' Truck, Destiny Bar, The Junction, and Concourse C eateries including Doolittle's Cantina and Doolittle's Annex (an Airstream trailer dining spot overlooking the airfield).

Shopping

Travelers will find travel essentials, apparel, and souvenirs at The Hangar Mercantile in Concourse C, along with newsstands and gift shops located in the public lobby and along the departure concourses. Duty-free shops are not available as the airport operates domestic flights exclusively.

Baggage Services

Luggage carts are available for rent in the baggage claim area. Due to federal security regulations, no luggage storage or locker facilities are provided. Inquiries regarding misplaced items within the terminal can be made through the airport administration office.

Spacious family restrooms with baby changing tables, nursing spaces, and designated indoor and outdoor service animal relief areas located both pre-security and post-security.
