To collect a vehicle at the airport, the following documents and conditions are generally required:
- Passport: Original and valid identity document.
- Driving licence: Valid national licence held for at least 2 years. Foreign drivers must present an International Driving Permit (IDP) together with their original licence.
- Minimum age: The required age varies between 21 and 25 years, depending on the vehicle category and company policy.
- Security deposit method: A credit card is required for the security deposit. Note: Due to current international sanctions, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express cards issued outside the Russian Federation do not work on local payment terminals. It is recommended to confirm with the agency whether cards from the MIR or UnionPay systems are accepted, or whether cash deposits may be possible in exceptional cases.
