The airport is located in the town of Eastleigh, 7 km (4 miles) northeast from Southampton.
The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau (Monday to Friday from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Sunday from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm), postbox, plugs for electric devices, public telephones, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge for 4 hours. Bus - There are local and regional services to the city centre and locations in the surroundings from the adjacent train station. The journey to downtown Southampton takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Line U1C from Unilink (Tel +44 238 059 5974) operates every 10-15 min. from 5:35 am to 11:55 pm (from 6:00 am on weekends) between the airport, Southampton University, the city centre and the waterfront, with a fare of £2.00. Route U1A runs in the opposite direction.
Line X4 from Xelabus (Tel +44 238 064 4715) provides transportation to Hedge End, West End, Mansbridge and Eastleigh Mondays through Fridays between 7:10 am and 6:35 pm, Saturdays from 7:30 am to 6:20 pm and Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:55 pm.
On the other hand, Megabus (Tel +44 900 160 0900) allows passengers to make journeys further north, with stops from Oxford to Sunderland.
Train - You can reach key destinations in the southeast and the southwest of the country from the station situated next to the enclosure and connected through a footbridge. There are direct services to Southampton central station every 10 minutes provided by South Western Railway (Tel +44 345 600 0650) and CrossCountry Trains (Tel +44 344 736 9123). Travel time is 7 minutes and tickets have a cost of £4.00. Other destinations include Winchester (10 min.), Bournemouth (36 min.), Reading (49 min.), Portsmouth (60 min.), London Waterloo (69 min.; £43.90).
Taxi - Vehicles from Checker Cars (Tel +44 238 065 1110) available 24 hours a day. The company desk is found next to the entrance of the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes around 20 minutes.

Priority parking - Lot situated 60 seconds away from the main building, covered, with wider spaces.
Long stay parking - Outdoor car park at the end of the main airport road. Shuttle bus service every 5-10 minutes, 24 hours a day.
