Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport (SLA), known as El Aybal Airport and inaugurated in 1949, serves the province of Salta and neighboring towns. It operates domestic flights to Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario and Mendoza, as well as regional international routes to Brazil and Peru.

The airport has an uncovered parking lot and semi-covered areas located in front of the terminal, operating 24 hours a day. The system is automated through license plate reading and electronic tickets.
- Sectors: It has spaces for short stays (hourly rates) and long stays (daily rates). Sector B is primarily intended for rental cars and extended stays.
- Payment Method: You can pay at automatic terminals inside the central hall or at the exit booths, using cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment apps.
- Exemptions for People with Disabilities: Vehicles transporting or driven by people with disabilities are exempt from paying the fee. To access this benefit, it is mandatory to present a valid International Symbol of Access (ISA) and for the person with disabilities to be present in the vehicle at the time of exit.
- Grace Period: 15 minutes are granted for passenger pickup and drop-off at no charge.

- Reduced Mobility and Elderly: The terminal has access ramps, wide elevators, and adapted restrooms on all levels. Wheelchairs are available for internal transport; it is recommended to request them through the airline 48 hours in advance.
- Passengers with Autism (ASD): The airport implements the "Invisible Disabilities" program. Passengers can request the Sunflower Lanyard at the information desk to receive priority assistance and specialized treatment that minimizes sensory stress during check-in and security checks.
- Visual and Hearing Impairment: Tactile paving surfaces have been incorporated in main areas and high-contrast signage. Information staff are trained to provide assistance in guiding passengers through the terminal.
- Breastfeeding Mothers and Pregnant Women: A private and comfortable Nursing Room is available on the Upper Floor (boarding area). Additionally, pregnant women have priority access in security and immigration lines.
- Unaccompanied Minors: Airlines offer an accompaniment and custody service from the check-in counter until the minor is delivered to the authorized guardian at the destination. It is mandatory to present the airline's form and the corresponding legal authorization.
- Parking Infrastructure: There are exclusive and signposted spaces for vehicles transporting people with disabilities, located in the areas closest to the terminal entrance doors.
