 Passenger Guide

Jorge Newbery Airfield, first opened on October 22, 1947, and reopened in March 2021 after a year of runway and facilities expansion works, is the most important domestic airport in Argentina. It also operates international flights to and from South American countries such as Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia.

The airport is located in the northwest area of the city of Buenos Aires, on the waterfront and next to the La Plata River, just 2 km (1.2 miles) from the center of the Palermo neighborhood.

There are two covered parking areas in front of the terminal, with pedestrian access to the main building. The first 15 minutes of your stay are free of charge. Rates

Estacionamiento Sur - For short stays, with five levels.
Estacionamiento Rí­o - Dedicated for long stays, it is accessed from the waterfront. It can only be used with prior reservation.

Disabled persons are exempt from paying the fee. The vehicle must have the International Access Symbol (IAS), fixed or mobile, and people with disabilities must be present.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include ramps, elevators, adapted restrooms and telephones, and handicapped spaces in the parking lots. The airport customer service offers special attention and wheelchairs.
