Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (SLA)

Possibility to spend the night at Salta airport (SLA), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Salta airport is open around the clock, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning or if your flight is delayed.

Where to rest: Have a sleeping bag or blankets handy, since you may have to lay on the floor, as there are not many comfortable nooks in the public area. Inside the terminal, you can find a VIP lounge, which offers more amenities and privacy, although it closes at night. There are several accommodations in the airport surroundings and in the city centre.

Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside the airport at the moment.

Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night.
