Taxis
Authorized airport taxis operate along the exterior curbside immediately outside the arrivals hall. The journey to downtown San Pedro Sula and the business district takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic on Boulevard del Este (highway CA-13). As vehicles do not use taximeters, fixed fares must be negotiated before boarding or arranged at the official transport desk, averaging between USD 15 and 20 (approximately 370 to 500 HNL). For transfers pre-arranged from the city, local radio taxi companies such as Radio Taxi Maya, Radio Taxis del Valle, Radio Taxis Galácticos, Radio Taxi Hosanna, and Radio Taxis Scooby also operate.

Ride-Hailing Apps
The Uber platform operates in San Pedro Sula and provides pickup and drop-off services at the terminal. After retrieving your luggage and requesting a ride through the app, coordinate the pickup with your driver at the arrivals curb or in the main parking lot. Fares to downtown typically range from USD 5 to 12 depending on demand.

Buses and Intercity Connections
There are no direct public urban bus lines, subways, or rail services serving the airport grounds. If you need to travel to other regions of Honduras (such as Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba, Tela, or Copán Ruinas), the usual option is to take a taxi or rideshare vehicle to the Gran Central Metropolitana de Buses, located about 15 kilometers from the terminal, where major domestic and international bus routes depart.
Private Transfers and Hotel Shuttles
Several executive hotels and international chains offer private shuttle services between the airport and the property, which must be coordinated in advance. In addition, local destination agencies and tour operators provide pre-booked private transfers to Caribbean resort towns and archaeological destinations.
