Airside / Departures

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

Location: Terminal 2, post-security, between gates 46 and 47 (elevator access to upper level).

Hours: daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Amenities: curated local dining, signature craft cocktails, private relaxation pods, complimentary facial treatments, private shower suites, family room, nursing suite, private work booths, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Access: Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve, and The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card primary cardmembers with eligible Priority Pass. Standard Priority Pass members receive one complimentary annual visit per program terms.

 

Aspire Lounge

Location: Terminal 2 East, connector corridor post-security between gates 23 and 33.

Hours: 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Amenities: buffet of hot meals and snacks, open bar and craft drinks, shower facilities, Wi-Fi, runway views, and business stations.

Access: Priority Pass, LoungeKey, and DragonPass members; eligible premium cabin passengers on partner airlines (Oneworld); or day-pass purchase at reception subject to capacity.

 

Delta Sky Club

Location: Terminal 2 West, mezzanine level, directly above the security checkpoint.

Hours: 4:45 am to 10:15 pm.

Amenities: fresh chef-curated buffet, full-service bar, quiet workstations, power outlets throughout, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Access: Delta Sky Club members, Delta One passengers, international business class travelers on SkyTeam airlines, SkyTeam Elite Plus members, and eligible American Express Platinum or Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders on same-day Delta flights.

 

United Club

Location: Terminal 2 West, mezzanine level, near gates 47 and 48.

Hours: 5:15 am to 9:00 pm.

Amenities: complimentary light fare and snacks, premium beverages and spirits, high-speed Wi-Fi, private workspaces, and travel assistance.

Access: United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members, United Polaris passengers, international first or business class passengers on Star Alliance airlines, Star Alliance Gold members, and active-duty U.S. military personnel.

 

Landside / Public Area

USO Center Neil Ash Airport Center

Location: Terminal 2, ground level adjacent to the parking facility.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Amenities: snacks and beverages, shower facilities, computer stations, children's play area, outdoor patio, and travel information.

Access: active-duty U.S. military service members and their immediate families.

Facilities and services

San Diego International Airport provides a wide range of traveler services, dining venues, and amenities across both terminals.

 

Banking and Connectivity

  • Free Wi-Fi: official high-speed network available in both terminals via renewable 2-hour sessions.
  • ATMs: cash dispensers located throughout landside and airside areas in both terminals.
  • FuelRod Kiosks: automated stations to buy and swap portable electronic charging devices throughout gate areas and baggage claim.
 

Food and Dining

Both terminals offer an extensive selection of local San Diego eateries, specialty coffee roasters, craft breweries, grab-and-go markets, and national fast-food brands. Terminal 1 features an expansive culinary food hall and an outdoor dining patio with bay views. Most restaurants open from 5:00 am until 10:00 pm, while automated vending machines operate around the clock.

 

Shopping and Duty-Free

Newsstands, bookstores, electronics retailers, travel essentials, and California lifestyle boutiques. Duty-free shops are available post-security in Terminal 2 West.

 

Baggage Services

  • Luggage Carts (Smarte Carte): dispensers available curbside, in baggage claim, and in parking garages (complimentary for arriving international passengers).
  • Lost and Found Office: located on the lower level of Terminal 2 East, handling inquiries in person and processing reports through an official online form.
  • Luggage Storage: due to federal TSA regulations, there are no luggage lockers or luggage storage services at the airport.
 

Other Services

  • Lactation Suites: private rooms equipped with power outlets, comfortable seating, and sinks, located airside in both terminals.
  • Pet Relief Areas: designated facilities both outside terminal entrances and past security checkpoints.
  • Meditation and Prayer Room: located on Level 2 of Terminal 2.
  • Art and Wellness: revolving art displays and live installations, plus Be Relax Spa located in Terminal 2 East near Gate 26.

How to get into a lounge

  1. Lounge membership: programs like Priority Pass give access to independent lounges in many airports, for an annual fee or per visit.
  2. Credit cards: some premium cards include lounge visits. Check whether your card covers the lounges at SAN and how many guests you can bring.
