Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport does not stay open 24 hours continuously. The terminal generally closes between 1:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., following the arrival or departure of the last scheduled flight of the night. Sleeping overnight inside the building is generally prohibited, except in rare cases of major weather-related flight cancellations at the discretion of airport security authorities.
