Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (PVR)

Possibility to spend the night at Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.

Spending the night at the airport

Puerto Vallarta airport is small, but it opens 24 hours a day. However, do not expect to find many things to do while you wait for your flight.

Where to rest: There are few seats inside the terminal, and those are uncomfortable, so you will probably end up sleeping on the floor (with no carpet). Have a sleeping bag or blankets for a better rest. There are also a few VIP lounges with more amenities, but keep in mind that they close at night. In the airport surroundings there are numerous options of accommodation, some of which have booking offices inside the terminal.

Baggage: The terminal does not offer left luggage services at the moment.

Eating and drinking: There are no options that stay open during the night.

Wi-Fi: Free access.
