Pensacola International Airport's public terminal building remains open 24 hours a day, allowing passengers arriving late or departing on early morning flights to stay overnight. However, the TSA security checkpoint closes after the final evening flight leaves (around midnight) and does not reopen until 3:45 AM, meaning overnight stays must take place on the landside (pre-security) area.

Most landside waiting seats feature armrests, though passengers frequently locate quieter seating near the upper-level administration hallways or along the perimeter of the baggage claim area. Concessions do not operate 24 hours, so food is limited to vending machines during the night. A jacket or travel blanket is advisable due to cool indoor air conditioning, or travelers may reserve a room at the connected Hyatt Place hotel directly linked via the terminal sky bridge.
