Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport, also known as Punta Raisi Airport and opened in 1960, is one of the most important in the island of Sicily. It operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe and Northern Africa.

The airport has a bank (Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:55 pm to 4:25 pm), ATMs, currency exchange bureau (7:00 am to 9:30 pm), postal services, plugs for electric devices and Wi-Fi access free of charge. Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping in the Departures Hall of the first floor (check-in area B). P1 - 600 meters from the main building, with free shuttles.
P2 - It is located opposite the passenger terminal and is connected through covered walkways.
P3 - Situated 500 meters away, with free shuttle service.
There are elevators, adapted restrooms, a special waiting room and reserved parking spaces directly across from the terminal. Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to inform their airline about their particular needs at the moment of their booking or at least 48 hours before their flight. Unaccompanied minors between 5 and 14 years old will be escorted by the airline staff until boarding and after disembarking and supervised during the flight.
