Gold Coast Airport, also known as Coolangatta Airport and opened in 1939, has had one of the biggest passenger movement growths in the last years in Australia. It serves the Queensland and New South Wales regions, and operates with domestic and international flights to neighbouring countries and Southeast Asia.

Ride-sharing - Uber picks passengers up at the northern end of the terminal, outside the Departures area.
Bus - Gold Coast Airport Shuttle (Tel +61 1300 655 655) is a door-to-door service that connects the airport with several tourist locations in the area, including Burleigh Heads, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport and Runaway Bay. It serves all major flights.
Line 777 from TransLink (Tel +61 131 230) runs to Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads, Mermaid Beach and Broadbeach South tram station in about 30 minutes, and there you can make combinations with the G line to Surfers Paradise, Southport and other destinations. It operates every 15 min. from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Route 760 links the enclosure with Varsity Lakes Station with a frequency of 30 min. It also goes to Tweed Mall, Coolangatta, Bilinga, Tugun, Currumbin, Palm Beach, Elanora and Robina.
On the other hand, Con-X-ion (Tel +61 755 569 888), Link Transfers (Tel +61 433 995 455) and Scoot Transfers (Tel +61 290 090 860) provide transfers to Brisbane.
Train - There are frequent services from TransLink (Tel +61 131 230) between Brisbane Central Station and Varsity Lakes (1 hour and 20 minutes), and bus 760 departs from there, stopping near the airport.
Taxi - Vehicles from Gold Coast Cabs (Tel +61 131 008) available at the southern end of the terminal, outside the Domestic Arrivals area. The trip to Surfers Paradise takes 25 minutes.
