Gold Coast Airport offers exclusive spaces designed to provide comfort and premium services for domestic passengers before departure. These lounges are located in the departures area, after passing through security screening.

Qantas Club

Located on Level 1, after security, immediately on the left.

Opening hours: Opens one hour before each Qantas-operated flight and closes after the airline’s final departure of the day.

Services: A selection of buffet food, bar service (available from midday), barista-made coffee, workstations with computers and printers, Wi-Fi access, showers, and the Joey Club children’s area.

Access: Qantas Club members, frequent flyers with Gold, Platinum or Platinum One status, passengers travelling in Qantas Business Class, Oneworld alliance members (Sapphire or Emerald status), and Emirates Skywards members (Gold or Platinum status).

Virgin Australia Lounge

Located at the southern end of the terminal, opposite Gate 18.

Opening hours: Opens daily from 60 minutes before the departure of Virgin Australia’s first flight until the airline’s final scheduled boarding.

Services: A menu of hot and cold meals, selection of premium wines and beers, barista coffee, high-speed Wi-Fi, charging points, and relaxation areas with television and newspapers.

Access: Virgin Australia Business Class passengers, Velocity Frequent Flyer members with Platinum or Gold status, Virgin Australia Lounge programme members, or through the purchase of a single-entry pass (subject to availability).

 Facilities and other services

Gold Coast Airport offers a full range of services for travellers, including free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, ATMs and currency exchange services operated by Interchange Travel Money, available from the opening of the terminal until the departure of the last flight.

Dining

The dining offer is varied and includes cafés, international cuisine restaurants, fast food outlets and bars. Most of these are located in the departures area, after security screening, although there are also options in the public arrivals area. Opening hours generally align with flight operations, typically starting at 5:00 am.

Shopping

In the international area, Heinemann Duty Free offers tax-free shopping, including perfumes, cosmetics, technology and liquor. In the domestic area, the airport stands out for its surfwear and accessories shops (iconic regional brands), as well as bookshops, gift shops and newsagents. In the arrivals hall, convenience stores such as WHSmith are available, where public transport cards can also be purchased and topped up.

Baggage

• Lockers: Automated luggage storage services are available 24 hours a day for bags of various sizes. They are located outside the terminal, near the domestic departures area.
• Baggage protection: Plastic wrapping service for luggage available opposite the Virgin Australia check-in counters during peak hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm).
• Lost property: For items lost in the terminal or car park, you must complete the lost property form on the official website. If the item was left on board an aircraft, you should contact the airline directly.

Other services

The airport provides baby care rooms with changing facilities and feeding areas, a pharmacy (Amcal+ Express) in the domestic departures lounge, multi-faith prayer rooms, and designated smoking areas located exclusively outside the terminal.
