Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Mexicali airport is open around the clock, but facilities are limited, so you will not find many things to do while you wait for your flight.
Where to rest: It is recommended to have blankets or a sleeping bag in case you have to lay on the floor. Your best option will probably be to previously arrange a shuttle with some of the hotels in the city.
Baggage: The terminal does not operate left luggage services for the moment.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night. Have some snacks ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: Access is free.
The nearest hotels are located in the city centre. Some of them provide courtesy transfers for their guests.
