Lafayette (LFT) airport

Three commercial airlines operate scheduled domestic flights: American Airlines (to Dallas/Fort Worth and Charlotte), Delta Air Lines (to Atlanta), and United Airlines (to Houston-Intercontinental). All ticket and check-in desks are located on Level 1 of the terminal.

No, the passenger terminal building does not remain open 24 hours and overnight stays are not permitted. The terminal closes following the arrival of the day's final flight and reopens between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. Travelers with overnight layovers or early morning departures should arrange accommodations at nearby hotels.

Rental car service counters (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National) are situated on the ground floor (Level 1) next to the baggage claim area. Vehicle pick-up and return occur in the adjacent covered car facility immediately outside the exit doors to the right of the counters.

In both the short-term and long-term parking lots, the first 30 minutes are complimentary. For short-term parking, the maximum daily rate is USD 15.00, while long-term parking costs a maximum of USD 9.00 per 24-hour period. A free Cell Phone Waiting Area is also available along Terminal Drive.

Passengers can use app-based ridesharing services (Uber and Lyft), regulated on-demand taxis through City / Dixie Cab, or complimentary hotel shuttles arranged in advance. The drive to downtown Lafayette takes about 5 to 10 minutes. There is no direct public bus or train service at the terminal.

There are no commercial VIP airline lounges or network lounges (such as Priority Pass) inside the passenger terminal. The only private executive lounge facility is operated by Signature Aviation FBO for general and private aviation clients.

The airport provides free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, charging stations, and dedicated work pods. Level 2 features a central rotunda restaurant and bar with options accessible before and after security, along with a gift shop and newsstand in the boarding gate concourse.
