Bus - Fritzsche (Tel +49 372 413 1366) operates door-to-door minibuses to and from the airport, in a 45-kilometer radius, as far as Chemnitz and the Erz mountains.
Train - The station is located beneath the main terminal. Lines S5 and S5X from S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland (+49 341 2669 6622) run to Leipzig central station in around 14 minutes and to Halle central station in 10 min. Both have a fare of €3.70. Taxi - Vehicles available in front of Terminal B. The trip to downtown Leipzig takes around 40 minutes, while journey time to Halle city centre is approximately 30 min. Multi-storey car park - Six-storey facility opposite the Central Terminal, connected to the check-in area on level 2. The first 20 minutes are free.
P1, P3, P11 - Short-term areas near Terminal B.
P2 & P4 - Outdoor parking lots with complimentary shuttle service to the main building.
P15 & P20 - Low cost bays, 10 and 15 minutes away on foot, respectively.
Ramps, elevators, accessible toilets and designated parking spaces are available. Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to contact their airline prior to their arrival. Children must be at least 5 years old to travel alone. They will be escorted by the airline crew from the check-in area until boarding, supervised during the flight and accompanied until the baggage reclaim area.
