Trains
The rail service is operated by Koleje Małopolskie and is the fastest way to reach the city centre. The station is located on level 1 of the multi-storey car park (P1), directly connected to the passenger terminal by a covered pedestrian walkway equipped with moving walkways.
Journeys and Frequency: The journey to Kraków Central Station (Kraków Główny) takes approximately 17 minutes, while the trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine (Wieliczka Rynek-Kopalnia) takes around 45 minutes. Trains operate at intervals of 30 to 60 minutes.
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased from vending machines in the terminal (level 0), at the train station, on board the train (via machines or staff), or through the Koleje Małopolskie website.
Public Buses
The MPK public transport network connects the airport with various key points across the city via regular and night services. Bus stops are located directly in front of the passenger terminal.
- Line 300: Express service connecting the airport with the Os. Podwawelskie stop (near the ICE Congress Centre), with a journey time of approximately 20–25 minutes.
- Line 209: Connects the airport with the Salwator district.
- Line 902: Night service running to the central railway station (Kraków Główny) and the main bus terminal (Dworzec Główny Wschód).
Tickets: Tickets for zones 1+2+3 (Agglomeration) are required. Ticket machines are available in the arrivals hall, at bus stops and on board most vehicles.
Intercity Buses
Several companies offer direct coach services from the airport to other cities in Poland and neighbouring countries. Departure points are located in the coach parking area.
Main Operators: FlixBus and Neobus provide frequent connections to destinations such as Wrocław, Katowice, Rzeszów, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna and Berlin. You can check destinations and timetables on the FlixBus website or Neobus.
Taxi and Ride-sharing
Kraków Airport Taxi: This is the only official authorised taxi service operating directly from the rank located in front of the arrivals hall. They offer fixed fares based on a zone system, so the price is known before starting the journey. The service operates 24 hours a day, and bookings can be made via their official website.
Ride-sharing (Uber): The airport has Uber as an official partner. To use this service, you must request a vehicle via the app. The dedicated pick-up point (“Uber Pick-up Point”) is located on level 0 of the multi-storey car park (P1), clearly signposted from the terminal exit.
