The airport is situated in Dalcross, 13 km (8.1 miles) to the northeast of Inverness.

The airport has ATMs and Wi-Fi access free of charge. Inside the terminal there are also conference facilities. The Aspire Lounge opens on Tuesdays from 5:00 am to 6:35 pm, Wednesdays from 5:00 am to 8:40 pm and the rest of the week from 5:00 am to 8:15 pm and is found to the right of the passport control; it offers computers, snacks, newspapers, bar, Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning (accessible with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - £21.00).
Food and Drinks- There is a restaurant and a café in the public area, while there is a bar and a coffee shop after the security control.
Shopping- Newsagents and stores selling sweets, books, souvenirs, clothing and accessories, spirits.
Baggage- The lost and found office is handled by the security department (Tel +44 166 746 4000), available from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Bus - Stagecoach (Tel +44 146 323 3371) operates the Jet Bus service (line 11) every 30 minutes between the enclosure, the city centre, Nairn, Ardersier and Tornagrain Village. Buses depart Mondays through Saturdays between 5:20 am and 11:20 pm and Sundays from 5:30 am to 10:20 pm. Journey time to downtown Inverness is around 25 min. and tickets have a cost of £4.50.
Train - From the station situated in the city centre leave trains to different locations in the Highlands, such as Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh. More information: Tel +44 345 748 4950.
Taxi - Ranks are located outside the terminal building. The official operator is Inverness Taxis (Tel +44 146 322 2222 / 786 797 7233). The trip to the city centre takes 20 minutes.
