The public landside area of Spokane International Airport remains open 24 hours a day, enabling travelers with early departures or delayed itineraries to remain inside overnight. However, the secure airside concourse areas close after the last daily departures and reopen at approximately 4:00 AM as TSA security screening resumes.

Seating within public areas is limited, and most benches have armrests that make lying down difficult. Concession stands and dining establishments close during the night, leaving only automated vending machines available for refreshments and light snacks. Travelers spending the night should carry warm clothing due to chilly overnight indoor conditions and have their flight itinerary or booking confirmation ready for security staff checks. Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the night, but showers and luggage lockers are not provided.
