Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Spending the night at the airport
Faro airport operates with many seasonal flights, so during the high season you can find it very crowded. Although it opens 24 hours a day, layover passengers will have to remain in the public area once the security control closes for the night. The air conditioning is usually very strong, so it is recommended to have warm clothes or a sleeping bag.
Where to rest: Plenty of benches with no armrests are available, and on the first floor there is also a VIP lounge, although it closes at night. Several accommodations are located nearby.
Baggage: Next to car park P5 there are lockers where you can leave your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Available options close at night. Have some refreshments ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: The service is free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
