Dalaman Airport offers various ground transport options that efficiently connect with the main tourist destinations of the Turkish Riviera.

Buses

Public transport from the airport is mainly operated by two providers that connect the terminals with the most important tourist centres in the region. The stops are conveniently located in front of the terminal exits.

Havas: Operates regular services to Marmaris (with stops in Dalaman town centre, Ortaca, Köycegiz and Gökova) and to Fethiye (via Dalaman town centre, Göcek and Günlükbasi). Departure times are coordinated with domestic flight arrivals. The journey to Marmaris takes approximately 90 minutes, while to Fethiye it takes around 60 minutes. Havas website.

MUTTAS: The Mugla Municipality provides transfers at fixed times aligned with flight schedules to Marmaris and Fethiye, using routes similar to those of Havas. It is an economical and efficient option for passengers. MUTTAS website.

Taxis

Taxi services are available 24 hours a day and are operated by the Dalaman Airport Taxi cooperative. Vehicles are located at designated ranks in front of the arrivals areas of both terminals. The journey to Dalaman town centre takes approximately 10 minutes. For enquiries or bookings, you can visit the Dalaman Taxi website.

Tips for getting to and from DLM

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Dalaman airport is 6 km from Dalaman. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.
  4. Returning a rental car? Follow the signs to the rental car return area. If you drive your own car, check parking at DLM.

Leaving the airport

  1. After baggage claim and customs, follow the ground transportation signs. The arrivals page has a step-by-step guide.
  2. Arriving late at night? Not every bus or train runs 24 hours: check the last departure in advance. Ride-hailing apps usually pick up at a designated zone, not at the curb.
  3. With a private transfer, the driver usually waits in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name.
  4. Renting a car? Booking ahead gives you better rates; see car rental at DLM.
  5. Staying near the airport? See hotels and overnight stay or hotels near DLM.
