Antalya Airport (AYT), opened on 1 April 1998, is one of the busiest airports in Turkey and a key gateway for tourism on the Turkish Riviera. Due to the rise of holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, it is one of the terminals that has experienced the greatest growth in traffic worldwide. It operates an extensive network of domestic flights and international connections covering Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Terminals

The airport has three passenger terminals that remain open 24 hours a day. The Domestic Terminal and Terminal 1 are integrated within the same complex, while Terminal 2 is located approximately 2.5 km away.

• Domestic Terminal: Dedicated exclusively to domestic flights within Turkey.
• Terminal 1: Handles international flights throughout the year, as well as some domestic arrivals. It is the main terminal for scheduled airlines.
• Terminal 2: Handles international flights, mainly seasonal and charter services.

Inter-terminal connection: The terminals are connected by public bus services (route 600), which run every 30 minutes, or by taxi.

Information Desks

You will find information desks in the arrivals and departures halls of all three terminals. In addition, there are interactive information points located near the boarding gates in Terminals 1 and 2 to assist passengers in transit.

The airport is located 13 km (8.1 miles) north-east of Antalya city centre.

Parking services at Antalya airport (AYT)

The airport offers more than 5,500 parking spaces distributed across several areas. All parking zones operate 24 hours a day and are equipped with surveillance systems, including cameras and security personnel, to ensure vehicle safety. The car parks are located just a 3-minute walk from the terminal buildings, so there is no need to use a shuttle service.

Parking Areas

• Domestic Terminal: The main car park is the new multi-storey facility located opposite the Domestic Terminal. On the ground floor, you will find the Subscription Centre, where parking permits and free parking authorisations are managed. The first 15 minutes of parking are free to facilitate quick passenger drop-off and pick-up.
• Terminals 1 and 2: Each international terminal has its own independent parking area, located within walking distance of the entrances.

Important Information

To ensure a smooth experience, please consider the following:

• Accessibility: Dedicated and clearly marked spaces are reserved for drivers with reduced mobility near the main access points.
• Payment: Payment machines and staffed payment points are located near the terminal exits and within the parking areas. It is recommended to pay before retrieving your vehicle.
• Subscriptions: Preferential rates are available for frequent users or long-term stays and must be arranged at the parking payment office upon arrival.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Antalya Airport is designed to ensure accessibility for all passengers, complying with international standards for people with reduced mobility, families with children and travellers with pets.

Passengers with Reduced Mobility

The infrastructure includes access ramps, lifts with Braille buttons, adapted toilets, accessible public telephones and check-in counters designed for wheelchair users. "Meeting Points" have been installed at terminal entrances and in baggage reclaim areas to facilitate assistance.

• Assistance: It is recommended to inform the airline at least 48 hours in advance to arrange assistance from the airport entrance to the aircraft.
• Wheelchairs: Airline staff or ground handling services will provide wheelchairs free of charge for movement within the airport.
• Parking: Reserved and free parking spaces are available (subject to presentation of the relevant Turkish documentation or an international disability card) near the terminal entrances.

Families and Children

For those travelling with babies, the airport provides nursing and baby-changing rooms in the departures and arrivals areas of all terminals.

• Entertainment: There are children's play areas in the international terminals to make waiting before the flight more enjoyable.
• Unaccompanied minors: Airlines offer supervision and assistance services for children travelling alone. You should contact the airline in advance to complete the necessary forms and arrange the handover and collection process.

Travelling with Pets

The airport allows the transit of domestic animals, provided they comply with airline and destination country regulations. Pets must remain in their carriers at all times within the terminal.

• Pet relief area: There is a designated area where animals can relieve themselves before boarding, located in the outdoor area of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
