Transfer to/from - Copenhagen airport (CPH)

The airport is exceptionally well connected to the city centre and the region thanks to an integrated network of metro, train, bus and taxi. The metro and train station is located directly beneath Terminal 3, offering fast and efficient transfers.

Car Sharing

Copenhagen Airport offers car sharing options through GreenMobility. These services allow users to pick up and drop off vehicles in designated areas. Their electric cars are available in car park P7. To use the service, prior registration with the providers’ respective apps is required.

Metro

The metro station, located in Terminal 3, offers frequent service to the city.

Frequency: Every 4-6 minutes during the day and every 15-20 minutes at night.

Journey: The trip to central Copenhagen (Norreport Station) takes approximately 15 minutes.

Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at the station’s ticket machines (which accept credit/debit cards and coins) or at the DSB ticket office in Terminal 3. A valid ticket is required before entering the platforms.

Train

The train station, also beneath Terminal 3, connects with both national and international destinations.

Destinations: Copenhagen Central Station (Kobenhavn H) can be reached in 10-15 minutes. Trains also connect to other Danish cities such as Elsinore and to destinations in Sweden, including Malmö, Lund and Gothenburg.

Important: Tickets must be purchased before boarding the train, either from the ticket machines, at the DSB ticket office, or via their app. Boarding without a ticket incurs a fine.

Bus

Several bus lines operate from the terminals, connecting to different parts of the city and region. The stops are located outside the terminals.

Urban Buses

• Line 5C: Connects the airport with central Copenhagen (Central Station, Raadhuspladsen) and continues to other districts. Travel time to the centre is approximately 30-35 minutes.
• Line 35: Offers local connections within Amager, including Dragor.
• Line 36: Serves destinations further south in Amager.

Long-Distance Buses

Several companies operate long-distance services connecting the airport with cities in Denmark and Sweden, including Malmö. For detailed information on routes and timetables, you can consult the websites of the following companies:

Taxi

Taxis pick up passengers outside Terminal 3. All authorised taxis are metered and accept credit card payments.

Journey to the centre: Approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Approximate fare: The fare to central Copenhagen usually ranges between DKK250-350. Special services to Sweden are available.
