Lounges, facilities and services at CHO Airport

The airport features a lounge located within the secure boarding area:

The Lounge

Location: upper level, post-security, adjacent to Gate 5.

Hours: daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Amenities: quiet workspace environment, electrical charging outlets, complimentary snacks, and beverages.

Access: pay-per-use entry at the door (approximate fee USD 10), open to all passengers regardless of airline or ticket class. Priority Pass, LoungeKey, and DragonPass memberships are not accepted.

Finance & Connectivity

• Wi-Fi: free high-speed wireless internet access available throughout the entire terminal.
• ATMs: located in the public ticketing area and in the post-security gate concourse (lower level).
• Currency Exchange: no foreign exchange kiosks are available at the airport.

Dining

On the ground floor near Gate 1, dining options are provided by Turbo Grill, Radar Bar, and Copilot Coffee. Offerings include made-to-order hot meals, grab-and-go snacks, pastries, locally roasted coffee, regional craft beers, wine, and cocktails. Operating daily starting at 4:00 a.m. until the last departing flight.

Shopping

On the upper level adjacent to Gate 5, a gift shop offers regional souvenirs, official University of Virginia (UVA) apparel and merchandise, and essential travel supplies. Duty-free shops are not available.

Luggage Services

Due to airport security regulations, luggage storage facilities and left-luggage lockers are not provided.

Other Services

• Lost and Found: items misplaced in the terminal or TSA security checkpoints are managed through the digital Pixit system by the airport lost and found office, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For items left onboard an aircraft or delayed baggage, contact the respective airline directly.
• Conference Room: a private meeting room available for rental Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., equipped with audiovisual capabilities and computer hookups.
