Bremen airport (BRE)

Bremen Airport, opened on May 16, 1913, is one of the most important in the country. It operates with several destinations within Europe and Egypt.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminals 1, 2, 3 and E, open from 3:00 am to 0:00 am. Terminal E is connected to the main building, which houses the other three terminals, through a walkway.

The airport is located 3.5 km (2.1 miles) southwest from Bremen city centre.

Public and private transportation

Bus - Line 52 from BSAG (Tel +49 4215 5960) departs every 30 minutes to Huchting Roland Center, Arsterdamm, Kattenturm-Mitte and the city centre from opposite the check-in area. It operates from Monday to Friday between 5:00 am and 7:40 pm. Journey time to the city centre is 10-15 min. and the fare is €2.80.
Luftibus (Tel +49 4418 1114) offers door-to-door transportation on demand to the city of Oldenburg, with a trip of 40 min. and a cost of €52.00.

Tram - BSAG (Tel +49 4215 5960) operates line 6, which runs from the station in front of the terminals to the city centre and the University of Bremen, with a frequency of 10 minutes. Tickets cost €2.80 and travel time is 15 min. It operates Mondays through Fridays between 5:00 am and 11:45 pm, Saturdays from 4:45 am to 11:45 pm and Sundays from 5:10 am to 11:45 pm. Intermediate stops include Leibnizplatz, Domsheide, Schüsselkorb, Herdentor, Hauptbahnhof, Am Stern, Riensberg and Berufsbildungswerk.

Taxi - Roland Taxi (Tel +49 4211 4433) and Tours Bremen (Tel +49 421 559 181) have vehicles outside the terminals. The trip to downtown Bremen takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic, and fares are around €10.00.

Parking services at Bremen airport (BRE)

The enclosure has two parking lots (Car Park 1 and Car Park 2) next to the terminals, both with short- and long-term bays. They are equipped with guidance systems that help you find empty spaces. Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance during their stay should inform their airline or travel agency about their needs at least 48 hours in advance.
