George Best Belfast City Airport, opened on March 16, 1938, is one of the two air terminals in the area and one of the most important in Northern Ireland. It operates with numerous domestic destinations and some international flights within Europe.

Bus - The Airport Express 600 from Translink (Tel +44 289 066 6630) operates every 20 minutes Mondays through Fridays between 5:30 am and 10:05 pm, Saturdays from 6:10 am to 9:45 pm and Sundays from 7:40 am to 9:45 pm to Belfast Europa Bus Central, via Queens Bridge and Donegall Square South. Journey time is around 15 min. Tickets have a cost of £2.50.
Airporter (Tel +44 287 126 9996) provides transportation to Derry/Londonderry (2 hours and 15 min.; £20.00) and Belfast international airport (45 min.; £10.00), Sundays through Fridays between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 am to 8:45 pm. Tickets can be acquired at the tourist office.
Train - There is a shuttle service between the terminal and Sydenham Station that should be requested at the information desk. Trains from Translink (Tel +44 289 066 6630) depart from there to Belfast Central and Victoria Street stations (£2.00; 16 minutes trip), Mondays through Fridays from 6:30 am to 10:50 pm, Saturdays from 7:20 am to 10:50 pm and Sundays from 8:45 am to 9:50 pm, with a frequency of 20 min. In the city centre you can make connections with the rest of the network in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
Taxi - Value Cabs (Tel +44 289 080 9080) has vehicles outside the terminal. The journey to downtown Belfast has a cost of around £10.00 and takes 10 minutes.
