Overnight Hours
The Albuquerque Airport terminal building remains open 24 hours a day. However, TSA security checkpoints close overnight at approximately 11:45 pm and reopen around 3:30 am to 4:00 am. Following the last flight departure, the secure boarding area is cleared, and overnight passengers must wait in the landside public area until morning security operations resume.
Rest Areas
In the public area before security checkpoints and throughout the baggage claim level, travelers can find padded chairs and carpeted corners. Most standard terminal seating includes armrests. Bringing warm layers or a blanket is recommended, as air conditioning runs cold throughout the night.
Luggage Storage
The airport does not offer luggage storage lockers or baggage hold facilities.
Overnight Food and Drinks
Concessions and cafes close overnight (reopening starting at 4:00 am). Only automated vending machines dispensing snacks and drinks remain accessible around the clock.
Security and Wi-Fi
The terminal is safe and monitored continuously by Aviation Police patrols 24 hours a day. Free Wi-Fi connectivity remains active and uninterrupted throughout the night.

ATMs, mother's nursing room, pet relief areas, and public restrooms remain available 24/7.
