The airport is located about 8 km (5 miles) northeast of downtown Uberlândia, typically taking 15 to 20 minutes by road depending on traffic conditions.

Ride-sharing

Both Uber and 99 operate at the airport. You can request a ride via their respective mobile apps after retrieving your luggage; the designated driver pick-up area is located along the outer curbside in front of the terminal.

Public Buses

Bus line A211, operated by Viação Sorriso de Minas, has a stop approximately 120 meters from the passenger terminal. It connects the airport with Terminal Umuarama and the Aclimação neighborhood, running along Av. Doutor Vicente Salles Guimarães and Av. Orlandina Ondina. Operating hours are from 5:00 am to 0:00 am.

Taxis

The official taxi rank is situated just outside the arrivals concourse exit. Vehicles are readily available 24 hours a day aligned with flight operations. Travel time to downtown Uberlândia is approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Services are provided by authorized local cooperatives such as Rádio Táxi 1010 and municipal street cabs.

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Uberlândia airport is 8 km from Uberlândia. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
