Trapani-Birgi Airport Vincenzo Florio, opened in 1964, is the third busiest in the island of Sicily. It operates with several domestic flights and some international destinations within Europe.

Bus - AST (Tel +39 916 208 111) links the enclosure with the city and the port of Trapani between 6:30 am and 7:30 pm, with a journey time of 30-40 min. and a fare of €2.70.
Autoservizi Salemi (Tel +39 923 981 120) travels to Piazza Cairoli and Piazza Politeama, in Palermo (1 hour and 45 min.), and to Marsala (30 min.)
Salvatore Lumia (Tel +39 9222 0414) provides transportation to Agrigento in about 3 hours. Tickets have a cost of €11.90 and intermediate stops include Marsala, Strasatti, Mazara, Castelvetrano, Menfi, Sciacca, Ribera, Montallegro, Siculiana, Realmonte and Porto Empedocle.

Parking services at Trapani airport (TPS)

The parking lot, situated in front of the terminal building and easily accessible through pedestrian walkways, has bays for short and long stays. The first 15 minutes are free. Payment can be made at automatic machines located in the Arrivals Hall or at the Airgest ticket counter. Fees

Facilities for passengers with special needs

There is a special waiting room, designated parking spaces near the terminal entrance, wheelchairs, induction loops and an ambulift to board or disembark from the airplane. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs at the moment of their booking or at least 48 hours in advance. Unaccompanied minors between 5 and 14 years old will be escorted by the airport staff until boarding and then left to the care of the head steward during the flight.
