The airport offers a variety of public and private transport options that provide fast and convenient connections to the city centre and other towns in the Randstad region, such as The Hague and Delft.
Buses
Route 33, operated by RET, is the main public transport service. The stop is located directly in front of the terminal’s arrivals area.
Main destinations: The bus connects the airport with Rotterdam Central Station (Rotterdam Centraal) in around 20–25 minutes, and with Meijersplein metro station in approximately 7–10 minutes.
Ticket payment: Physical tickets no longer need to be purchased in advance. You can use the OVpay system by tapping in and out with your contactless debit or credit card, or via your mobile phone. The OV-chipkaart is also still accepted.
Metro
Although the airport does not have its own metro station, Line E (RandstadRail) can be reached via a short connection on bus 33 to Meijersplein station. From there, you can travel to The Hague city centre (Den Haag Centraal) in around 25 minutes, or to central Rotterdam in just a few minutes.
Taxis
Taxis operate continuously in front of the terminal building exit. The official operator associated with the airport is Rotterdam Airport Taxi.
Journey time: The journey to Rotterdam city centre usually takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and the time of day.

Ride-sharing
Uber services are available at the airport. It is recommended to request a vehicle once you have collected your luggage. The app will indicate the exact meeting point with the driver in the designated pick-up areas outside the terminal.
