Buses

Several public transportation routes and medium- and long-distance services connect the airport with Montevideo and other parts of the country. The bus stop is located in front of the terminal.

COPSA operates regular services to the city center and towns in the Canelones Department. The main routes include:

• 701, 703, and 704: Connect the airport with Río Branco Terminal (downtown) and Paso Carrasco.
• 710 and 711: Services to resorts along the Costa de Oro, such as Parque del Plata and Atlántida.
• 757: Connects the airport with Las Piedras via Zonamérica.

Cutcsa provides urban and express transportation options:

• C1: Direct service to downtown Montevideo (Río Branco Terminal).
• DM1: An express route connecting Punta Carretas with Zonamérica, providing convenient access to residential and business areas.

COT offers medium- and long-distance transportation services. Its buses connect the airport with Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo, as well as with tourist destinations to the east, including Punta del Este, Piriápolis, San Carlos, Rocha, La Paloma, and Chuy.

Turismar, a Uruguayan company with extensive experience in passenger transportation, special transfers, and tourism, provides transportation services throughout the country.

Taxis

The official authorized company is Taxi Aeropuerto de Carrasco. The service is available 24 hours a day, with vehicles located immediately outside the terminal building. There is a service desk in the arrivals hall where passengers can pay for their trip in advance using credit cards or cash. The estimated travel time to downtown Montevideo is 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
