Bus

Arriva (Tel +31 800 023 22545) operates line 30 to Maastricht, Meerssen, Geleen and Sittard stations, with intermediate stops at Rothem and Beek city centre. It departs every 30-60 minutes Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 0:00 am, Saturdays from 8:00 am to 0:00 am and Sundays from 9:20 am to 0:00 am. The journey to the centre of Maastricht takes about 30 min. and the fare is €3.40. The bus stop is located in front of the terminal.

Taxi

Taxis are available in front of car park P1, to the right of the terminal. Travel time to the city centre is 15 minutes and costs €35.00-45.00.

Tips for getting to and from MST

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Maastricht Aachen airport is 9 km from Maastricht-Aachen. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.
  4. Returning a rental car? Follow the signs to the rental car return area. If you drive your own car, check parking at MST.

Leaving the airport
