Malmö Airport offers various ground transport options connecting the terminal with the city centre, the university town of Lund and the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
Buses
Vy flygbussarna: This is the main bus connection between the airport and the city of Malmö. The route operates to the Central Station (Malmö C), with an approximate journey time of 40–45 minutes. It makes intermediate stops at Jägersro, Persborg, Södervärn, Triangeln and Studentgatan.
Timetables are coordinated to match flight arrivals and departures. The stop is located to the right of the terminal exit. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance via the Flygbussarna website.
Buss Bogdan Skåne: Provides regular services connecting the airport with Lund (30 minutes), as well as Helsingborg. Timetables and ticket purchases are managed directly via bussbogdan.se.
Neptunbus: Operates direct transfers between Malmö Airport and Copenhagen (Ingerslevsgade). Its timetables are specifically synchronised with Wizz Air flights. Advance booking via their official website is mandatory.
Taxis
The taxi rank is located directly outside the arrivals area. Most companies offer fixed fares for transfers to Malmö or Lund, which must be displayed on a yellow label with black numbers on the vehicle window. It is advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey.
Journey time: Approximately 20–30 minutes to Malmö city centre.
If you have made a prior booking, the driver will be waiting for you inside the terminal, next to the baggage reclaim area for domestic flights.
Ride-hailing
Private transport services can be requested via the Uber app. Once the vehicle has been requested, the app will indicate the exact pick-up point, which is usually located near the taxi ranks or in the short-stay car park area.
