Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Malmö airport is small and opens 24 hours a day. Although it is relatively quiet, it is best to have headphones or earplugs in case there is a lot of noise.
Where to rest: You can find some comfortable couches in the main hall, but it is recommended to have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you have to sleep on the floor. Another option is to use one of the airport's VIP lounges, where you can access more amenities and privacy. The only problem is that they close at night. There is also a hotel next to the grounds.
Baggage: In the public area there are lockers so you can leave your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night, except for a few vending machines.
Wi-Fi: Free for 3 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, children's playground.
Next to the airport is located the Sturup Airport Hotel. It is possible to find other options in the vicinity, among them:
Nötesjö Hotell (2.4 km/1.5 miles)
Häckeberga Slott (5.9 km/3.7 miles)
The Lodge (6.9 km/4.3 miles)
Trolleberg Bed & Breakfast (9.2 km/5.7 miles)
Anderslövs Gästgivaregård (11.8 km/7.3 miles)
