Vip Lounges at Kuala Lumpur airport (KUL)

 VIP LOUNGE PASS COVID-19 - Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, the services and hours of the lounges may be subject to change as well as the capacity limit could be reduced. In turn, due to the changing situation, some rooms may even be temporarily closed.

 Which are the Vip lounges at Kuala Lumpur airport (KUL) and how to access:

AirAsia Premium Red Lounge - On the mezzanine floor of KLIA2, open 24 hours a day. Maximum stay: 3 hours. Meals, drinks, workstations, plugs for electric devices, Wi-Fi. Access: Premium Flex and Premium Flatbed passengers from AirAsia, or by paying at the door.

Cathay Pacific Lounge - Situated on the east wing of KLIA1, near gates C21-C27, and open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Complimentary snacks and drinks, newspapers and magazines, TV, telephones, fax, computers, Wi-Fi. Access: with Marco Polo Diamond, Gold or Silver membership, first or business class passengers from Cathay Pacific and Oneworld airlines, Emerald or Sapphire members.

Emirates Lounge - It is found next to gates C21 and C27 of KLIA1. Gourmet cuisine, Wi-Fi, computers, showers. Access: with Skywards Gold or Platinum membership, first or business class passengers from Emirates.

Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge - On the mezzanine floor of the satellite building (temporarily closed) and on levels 3 (6:00 am to 9:00 pm) and 5 (5:00 am to 0:00 am) of KLIA1. Snacks, TV, computers, smoking area, showers, press, children's area, Wi-Fi. Access: with Enrich Platinum or Gold membership, first and business class passengers from Malaysia Airlines and Oneworld airlines, Emerald or Sapphire members.

Plaza Premium Lounge - Lounges located near gates C11-C17 of KLIA (8:00 am to 2:30 am) and on levels 2M (6:00 am to 8:00 pm), 2 and 3 (temporarily closed) of KLIA2. Open around the clock. Maximum stay: 3 hours. Computers, air conditioning, drinks, refreshments, showers, newspapers and magazines, telephones, fax, TV, Wi-Fi, conference facilities. Access: with DragonPass membership or by paying at the door.

Sama Sama Express - Next to gate C5 of KLIA (24 hours a day) and on level 3 of KLIA2 (6:00 am to 11:00 pm). Maximum stay: 3 hours. Showers, beverages, fax, press, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, snacks, computers, TV. Access: with Priority Pass or DragonPass membership, or by paying at the door.

Thai Royal Silk Lounge - Near gate C12 of KLIA1. Temporarily closed. Complimentary snacks, drinks, magazines, newspapers, TV, Wi-Fi, telephones, fax. Access: with Royal Orchid Plus Gold or Platinum membership, first or business class passengers from Thai Airways and Star Alliance airlines, Star Alliance Gold members.

Facilities and other services

The airport has currency exchange bureaus (24 hours a day), ATMs, post office, VIP lounges, mobile phone services, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge for 3 hours. The Sama Sama Express Hotel, situated inside the enclosure, offers meeting rooms and business services.

Food and Drinks

A wide range of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, fast food outlets, bakeries and confectioneries is available. Options open around the clock in both terminals.

Shopping

Options include duty-free shops in the Departures areas, convenience stores on levels 1, 3 and 5 of KLIA1, fashion and accessories, liquor, tobacco, perfumes, cosmetics, books, magazines, newspapers, souvenirs, electronics, jewellery, toys, handicrafts.

Baggage

Free trolleys throughout the enclosure. Secure luggage wrapping on level 5 of KLIA and on level 3 of KLIA2. Lockers and left luggage services around the clock on level 3 of KLIA1.
