Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Fortaleza airport is open 24 hours a day, so you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure if you have a flight early in the morning. The place can get pretty cold at night, so it is recommended to have something warm.
Where to rest: Benches have armrests. If you have a sleeping bag or blankets, you can head for the observation deck, on the second floor, which is the quietest spot in the airport. If you finally decide to go to a hotel, there are several in the vicinity, and some of them operate shuttle services.
Baggage: Left luggage service around the clock outside the Arrivals Hall.
Eating and drinking: Throughout the terminal you can find several eateries that remain open during the night.
Wi-Fi: The access is free and unlimited.
Due to its central location, several hotels are situated near the enclosure.
