COVID-19 Information

With the gradual reopening of the entry of residents and natives of neighboring countries, the entry quota to the country between October 4 and 10 is increased to 21,000 places per week. Likewise, free entry of people to the terminals is allowed.

Meanwhile, as from October 19, the weekly entry quota will be eliminated.

The measure also implies the elimination of the antigen test upon arrival, without this implying the elimination of the need for the PCR test prior to boarding, nor the PCR test carried out between day 5 and 7 after arrival.

Requirements for foreigners as from November.

Foreigners arriving in the country as tourists must “have completed the complete vaccination scheme at least 14 days prior to their entry”, which must be recorded “in the affidavit required by the National Direction of Migration”.

In addition, these persons will have to have a “negative PCR test at origin performed within 72 hours prior” to their arrival and another one “between the fifth and seventh day” after landing.

Vaccinated persons with a complete vaccination schedule and tested negative will be exempted from quarantine, while those who test positive will have to “remain isolated in the provincial facilities provided for that purpose for a period of 10 days, or whichever is longer, as defined by the province in its protocol”.

Meanwhile, minors who have not completed the vaccination scheme, but who are in the company of adults who do comply with this condition, will be able to enter the national territory. They will have to undergo quarantine and a test on the seventh day to be able to circulate freely.

All travelers must obtain the Certificate of Circulation, to travel to and from Aeroparque. The Affidavit must be completed at: within 48hs prior to the trip, and present at check-in, the voucher you received in your mail at the end of the declaration.

General considerations
It is an almost generalized concept that each passenger must have a certificate of vaccination against the Coronavirus (if they already have it), a RT-PCR test result within 48 hours of boarding,10-day quarantine, filling out the form and affidavit of health (including in some cases the COVID-19 vaccination certificate), in addition to complying with the distancing protocols, hand washing and use of mask.
But also, given the situation of constant changes, it is always important to consult and finalize details with the airline and also, if necessary, with the airport as well as in the case of international flights with the nearby embassy or consulate to wherever the destination is. final, as well as the countries involved in flight stopovers.
In this sense, it is useful to review the International Map of the current restrictions of each country.
