Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Spain

All passengers from a country or risk zone (with the exception of those under 12 years of age) must provide one of the following supporting documents with the requirements set by the health authority: be vaccinated against COVID-19, have recovered from the COVID-19 or a diagnostic test (such as PCR or rapid antigen test), carried out 48 hours before traveling, whose result has been negative. At any time, the passenger may be asked to accredit these documents.

Passengers from high-risk countries will have to present, regardless of whether they have a vaccination or recovery certificate, a SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test certificate, with a negative result. In addition, they will have to perform a 10-day quarantine.

If you come from abroad, you must fill in your  Health Control Form (FCS)  and deliver the QR that will be generated. If you fly from Spain, the FCS form is not necessary.

On July 1, the EU Digital COVID Certificate came into force, a document that allows travel between EU countries proving that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, has recovered from the disease or has a negative test in the last 48/72 hours as established by the different countries.

If you are going to travel, always check with your airline before flying and remember that the use of a mask is mandatory. Follow hygienic measures at all times and keep a physical safe distance from anyone.

Remember that you should not go to the airport or travel if you have symptoms of illness. Failure to comply with sanitary measures entails the application of sanctions by the competent authorities.

Always remember to check with your airline, your itinerary and requirements at the time of boarding, to comply with the protocol and restrictions according to the destination you are going to.
