Malaga airport (AGP)

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, opened on September 1, 1919, is one of the busiest in Spain and the oldest in the country. It operates with domestic and international flights to several destinations in Europe, Africa and Canada.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 2 (Pablo Ruiz Picasso) and 3, situated next to each other and connected internally. Open 24 hours a day.

Annual passenger traffic: 5.16 million passengers went through it during 2020.

The airport has ATMs, plugs for electric devices, router hire and Wi-Fi access free of charge. You can rent meeting rooms in terminals 2 and 3 and in the general aviation terminal. The Sala VIP lounge is located on floor 2 of Terminal 3 and opens from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm; the maximum stay is 4 hours and it provides catering, press, TV, computers, Wi-Fi, meeting room, air conditioning (access with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €34.90).

Food and Drinks

- Restaurants, bars, ice cream stores, fast food outlets, coffee shops and vending machines in terminals 2 and 3, especially in the latter.

Shopping

- Duty-free shops on the first floor of Terminal 2 and levels 0 and 1 of Terminal 3. In addition, there are retailers selling sweets, sports goods, tobacco, jewellery, clothing and accessories, electronics, newspapers and magazines, gifts.

Baggage

- Trolleys available in the car parks, the Departures level and the baggage reclaim halls. Porters from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm in the luggage recollection halls (Tel +34 653 444 747). Secure luggage wrapping in the check-in area, from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm. Left luggage service in the Arrivals area (Tel +34 653 444 747 - temporarily closed). The lost and found office is situated on the first floor of Terminal 3, behind counters 363-386, and operates around the clock (Tel +34 913 211 000; e-mail: [email protected]).

Parking general - Ideal for stays of up to 4 days, situated 2 minutes away from the terminals.
Parking express - For short periods, the closest to the departure areas.
Parking de larga estancia - Temporarily closed. Long-term car park with covered and outdoor spaces and free transfers to the terminals in 5 min.
Parking Terminal Aviación General - By the general aviation terminal, for private flight passengers.
Parking preferente - Has the quickest and most direct access to the Arrivals areas.
Parking VIP - With valet parking service in the Arrivals area.

 

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Ramps, elevators, adapted toilets, wheelchairs and reserved parking spaces are available. To request special assistance, passengers should get in touch with their airline or travel agency prior to their flight. An escort service is also offered for unaccompanied minors between 5 and 12 years old.
