International travel to Thailand is allowed. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.
All foreign travelers must provide proof of travel insurance that includes full coverage for COVID-19 for a minimum of $ 50,000 USD for COVID-19 medical and lodging costs.
Travelers to Phuket Sandbox must present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine. These travelers will have a reduced 7-day quarantine period at an approved government facility. All vaccines approved by the Thai Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) or the World Health Organization (WHO) are accepted. More information can be found at https://thaiembdc.org/covid-19inthailand/
Travelers must be quarantined for 10 days at an approved pre-booked government facility; confirmation of prepaid reservation must be shown upon arrival. A list of approved government hotels can be found HERE
Those traveling under the Phuket Sandbox program must self-quarantine for 7 days.
Phuket Sandbox or Samui Plus travelers must stay in facilities approved for their respective programs. In addition, RT-PCR tests will be administered at the beginning and end of the quarantine period. You can find more information HERE
Proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided upon departure. This does not apply to citizens who are not traveling under the Phuket Sandbox program.
An RT-PCR test will be administered on arrival and the eighth or ninth after arrival. If a positive result is received, travelers should follow the instructions of health officials. Those traveling under the Phuket Sandbox program will be screened upon arrival and on the sixth or seventh day after arrival.
All passengers are subject to health checks on departure and arrival, such as temperature checks and visual evaluation. More health tests may be required for those showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Travelers must register for the Thailand pass before traveling. The Thailand Pass QR code received on departure and arrival will be required. Entry certificates approved before November 1 are still valid for travel to Thailand.
