The airport offers exclusive, comfortable spaces designed for travellers to relax or work before departure. These lounges are located in the departures area, once security control has been cleared.

Qantas Club

Located on the right after security, on the first floor. It opens one hour before Qantas’ first flight and remains open until the airline’s last departure. Services include a wide selection of refreshments, a bar service (generally available from midday), showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, workstations equipped with Apple iMac computers, a children’s play area, and a selection of national and international newspapers and magazines.

Access: Qantas Club members, Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum One, Platinum and Gold members, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members, Emirates Skywards (Platinum and Gold tier) members, and Qantas business class passengers or business class passengers of oneworld alliance airlines.

Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

Also located on the right after security, up the escalators to the lounge reception level. It opens one hour before each Qantas flight. This lounge offers a premium dining experience with seasonal menu options, a bar, showers, free Wi-Fi, workspaces and reading material. Its atmosphere is particularly suited to business travellers.

Access: Qantas business class passengers and oneworld airline passengers, Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum One and Platinum members, oneworld Emerald members, and Emirates Skywards Platinum members.

Virgin Australia Lounge

Located on Level 3 of the Western Concourse. Access is available from 60 minutes before Virgin Australia’s first departure until the last boarding of the day. Guests can enjoy a buffet selection, barista-made coffee, a bar service with alcoholic beverages (available from 12:00 pm), showers, televisions, Wi-Fi, workstations with device charging points, and printing services.

Access: Virgin Australia business class passengers, Velocity Platinum and Gold members, Virgin Australia Lounge members, or through purchase of a walk-in pass (subject to availability).

 Facilities and other services

Canberra Airport offers a wide range of services designed for traveller comfort. Passengers have access to free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, device charging stations strategically located at departure gates, and Travelex ATMs dispensing multiple foreign currencies.

Food & Drink

The culinary offering is mainly concentrated in the departures area after security. Travellers can find speciality coffee shops, wine bars and full-service restaurants such as City Hill Coffee and Baker's Cut. Most outlets operate in line with the day’s flight schedule.

Shopping

The terminal features a variety of shops offering everything from national newspapers and books to gifts and travel essentials. For international passengers, Duty Free stores are available during relevant boarding times. Convenience stores are also located in the public area for last-minute purchases.

Baggage

Luggage trolleys: These are available free of charge for all passengers in baggage reclaim halls, departure areas, and access points from the car parks.

Lost property: If you have lost an item inside the terminal, you should go to the Customer Service Desk on the arrivals level or complete the official contact form. For items left on board an aircraft, you must contact the relevant airline directly.

Other Services

• Parents’ rooms: High-quality facilities equipped with baby changing tables, private feeding areas and microwaves, located at various points throughout the terminal.
• Prayer room: A multi-faith space for reflection and prayer is located on Level 3.
• Meeting rooms: The Regus business centre, located on Level 4 of the Plaza Offices East building, is directly connected to the terminal. Additionally, the Vibe Hotel, located just a short walk from the main building, offers extensive conference facilities.
• Postal services: Mailboxes are available for last-minute mail dispatch before security screening.
