Brussels Zaventem airport (BRU)

Brussels Airport, also known as Zaventem Airport and opened on May 30, 1958, is the largest in Belgium and one of the busiest in the continent. It operates with destinations inside Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

There is a general and tourist information desk in the Departures Hall, check-in row 8, open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. You can also find assistance staff with green shirts throughout the enclosure.


The airport is located in the city of Zaventem, 12 km (8 miles) northeast from Brussels.

Parking services at Brussels Zaventem airport (BRU)

There are several parking options for short and long stays, most near the terminal, in addition to a passenger drop-off area which is free for 10 minutes. More information: Tel +32 2715 2110. Rates

P1, P2, P3 - Car parks directly in front of the terminal, with charging stations for electric vehicles. The first 30 minutes have no charge. Premium spaces in P1.
Discount Parking - Remote areas with covered and outdoor spaces, connected to the terminal every 15 minutes through a complimentary shuttle service (currently closed).


Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include ramps, lifts, escalators, moving walkways, wide automatic doors, contrasting strips for signalling, wheelchairs free of charge, reserved parking spaces. The special assistance reception desk is found in the Departures Hall. Inform your airline or travel agent about your needs 48 hours in advance. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted and supervised during their flight by the crew of the corresponding airline. Taxi Hendriks (Tel +32 2752 9800) provides taxis for wheelchairs users.
